Vacunémonos: Federal Website Now Offers Vaccine Resources in Spanish

This week the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) announced that its website,, the first federal website to offer culturally relevant vaccine resources for consumers is now available in Spanish. This is important for the families and caregivers of Hispanic older adults as information related to immunizations is consolidated and in both languages.

Both versions of the site offer the latest vaccine recommendations, easy-to-read immunization schedules, and tools on where to find vaccines and make them more affordable. Given that Hispanic older adults are less likely to get immunized, having access to vaccine-related information is key to help raise awareness of the need for immunizations throughout their lives.

Visit in Spanish at and help older adults in your life to stay healthy with immunizations.
