NHCOA Statement on Permanent Internet Tax Freedom Act

We are pleased that both the House and Senate have reached an agreement to address the Permanent Internet Tax Freedom Act as part of the trade customs conference report.

Internet and broadband services are becoming more and more important to aging Hispanics and we want to make that increased taxes don’t make it more difficult for this constituency to access these services going forward.

Again, NHCOA commends Congress for addressing this issue and look forward to final passage.
